Philosophy

be willing to be well is grounded in the assumption that people don’t require fixing. I promise you are already whole and amazing in this moment! With guidance, you will come to see what’s possible. It’s a place to let go of beliefs or storylines that no longer serve. Change does not have to be monumental to be meaningful.

Approach

As a holistic nurse coach dedicated to stress reduction and mindful living, I believe in whole-person health. You are more than your to-do list. You are also more than the number on the scale or any diagnosis you may have received. The issues that cause us the most stress (family, relationships, health, work) are also the things we care about the most.

My approach is about:

  • tailoring our time together to your unique needs and situation.

  • knowing that you are the expert on you, my job is to help you rediscover strengths you have lost touch with and turn them into action.

  • exploring the connection between your day-to-day stress and how it might be affecting your lifestyle and self-care habits.

  • being your partner and guide as you set goals and create a self-care plan. Throughout the process I provide you with support and accountability.

I strive to help caregivers develop greater awareness. This might be related to habits that affect health or those that impact your well-being. I firmly believe that life is too fleeting to put yourself on hold for even one more day.

this is for you if:

  • stress is getting in the way of your physical and emotional health and well-being

  • you’ve been putting yourself last ~ you’ve been taking care of your spouse with dementia or your adult child more than you’ve been taking care of yourself

  • you have the risk factors that lead to diabetes or heart disease such as:

    • increase in blood sugar

    • weight gain or an increase in waist size

    • increase in blood pressure

  • you’ve veered off your path ~ your life and actions do not align with where you want to be and it’s taking a physical and emotional toll.
